On This Day

History Writers Day on Twitter

On 27/28th November there is a collaborative ‘History Writers Day’ (or two) on Twitter. Roughly 250 authors, bookshops, and publishers have joined together to offer readers special offers, giveaways, signed copies and so on. It is a great opportunity to get a bargain, or to have a conversation with people who write about history.

How it works

Participants will Tweet their offers and deals using the hashtag #HistoryWritersDay

If you want to take advantage of a deal, simply Direct Message the author, shop, or publisher who is offering it. it is that simple.

I’ve seen lots of people saying that they will be running competitions or giveaways, so it is well worth watching the hashtag for those.

What will we be offering?

On this day in the Wars of the Roses has been discounted for a week to coincide with the event. It can be bought online here for delivery via Amazon, or you can contact me via twitter or facebook to arrange a signed copy.
