Having support staff in a classroom can seem to be a godsend to a new teacher. It can be seen as an obvious fix to some of the most\u00a0pressing needs in the classroom. Yet research shows that a lot of the time, having teaching assistants actually has a detrimental effect on\u00a0progress. So, how can new teachers make effective use of teaching assistants?<\/strong><\/p>\n
