Gifted and talented Students in History: Conclusions

Careful selection of a more able cohort alongside a well planned differentiated curriculum can lead to a highly rewarding and productive experience for both teacher and student alike. The key to provision for the more able, as with all students, is getting the pitch of the lesson right for them individually and providing a curriculum that is interesting, innovative and rewarding. Any resource or activity that stretches students who are more able is a suitable one.
